Feb 5, National Wear Red Day, for women's heart disease recognition:
Celebrate National Wear Red Day®—the first Friday in February—when Americans nationwide wear red to show their support for women's heart disease awareness.

The Heart Truth®—a national awareness campaign for women about heart disease—created and introduced the Red Dress as the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness in 2002 to deliver an urgent wakeup call to American women. The Red Dress® reminds women of the need to protect their heart health, and inspires them to take action. <snip>

I'll wear red tomorrow...but I confess, it will not be a dress...;)

3. Thanks for promoting women's heart disease awareness
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women. Many women don't know that the symptoms of a heart attack are different than those of men.

4. posted info to my FB site about it
Definitely a worthy cause - not sure if I own any red, though.

I tend not to wear it because I have a reddish complexion and look like I'm going to burst into flames or have a heart attack or stroke.

I might have to settle for wearing my Florida State T-shirt under a button-down shirt - might be the closest to red that I currently own.

for the record, I look terrible in red, so I am borrowing a shirt from my son...

I did, a few years back but a pink shirt for breast cancer awareness...:D
