44. Ridicule? more accurately slander ( or libel since written word)
Seems to me like someone feels their big name frontrunners are threatened.

They should be as forthright
We might get this country back on track

11. No, that is not what Keith meant....
to say...he was sensing a similarity in their speech pattern and impulsive passion. Zell and Gravel are complete polar opposites......Keith just mis-spoke.

I think Gravel was adorable, sincere, passionate and willing to really speak out.

27. I like a number
of the candidates. In fact, I thought they all did well tonight. But I recognize that people at the grass roots level need to invest in the candidates who are most strongly opposed to the war. It makes the primary process far more likely to move in the correct direction, rather than the corporate direction.

35. Thank you.
I think that sometimes the American public -- including progressives -- gets so used to the fake canned crap on television, that when there is some real outrage, that it is not recognized for what it is. But this guy is right: the war is wrong, it is an outrage, and the US occupation of Iraq must end.

42. Agreed. And makes the rest of the Democratic field very appealing ...
... to Republicans. I *loved* what Gravel had to say, and feel the others lack of passion should be considered abnormal.

quoting my bro's bumper sticker...
"If you're not outraged, then you're not paying attention."

19. Gravel sure did represent
the voice of the grassroots activist. It's what these candidates don't really get to hear much of being in the bubble. Dennis Kucinich does, because he attends PDA Events.

18. Every Debate Needs A Gravel
I'm not sure whose worse...the inane questions from the "journalists" or the cookie cutter answers most candidates throw out in these venues. The frontrunners go into these things to "play it safe"...that's where Gravel is fun. He turns this from a Presser into something resembling a debate.

Hell...I can't wait for Tancredo at the Repugnican debate...that debate will give us lots of laughs and more fireworks...and not a bad thing.

32. Call It The "Faux Factor"
I think MSNBC is treading lightly here. Think on this one. I would imagine they get regular "focus group" info...and its been showing their audience trending more and more Democratic and to the left...Olbermann is leading the way and the rest of the network is trying to adjust. Look at how they decided to give Steph Miller a shot...no way would they have taken that cahnce 6 months or a year ago.

The fact Democrats are boycotting Faux also has to be registering at MSNBC as well...they have the credibility Faux tried to get and couldn't.

Cheers...
