A joke about Gravel's manner, not the content of his statements. This thread reminds me of Stephanie Miller and her problems with "humorless stick-up-their-ass liberals".

Gravel came across as a slightly less senile but much more hot-headed version of Stockdale. Since Sharpton isn't in the race to provide humorous soundbites, Gravel will have to do this time around.
