DU "SELECT COMFORT", THE SPONSORS OF GLENN BECKS GLOBAL WARMING DENIAL
First, have a look at this webpage:
http://www.glennbeck.com/live/index.shtml

Sleep Comfort is the sponsor for this "tour", the ad does not change.

Beck is focussing on global warming denial these days, and although he presents this tour as some kind of innocent comedy thing, it's obvious from the tour name - "An Inconvenient Tour" - what he's up to.

CONTACT SLEEP COMFORT AND POLITELY TELL THEM YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH THIS SPONSORSHIP.
TELL THEM YOU WILL NEVER PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN DUE TO THEIR INVOLVEMENT IN GLOBAL WARMING DENIAL.

3. Generally, old cranky folks buy those beds.
They don't care what happens to the planet in fifty years.

5. I have considered getting one for the "Guest Room"
But keeping the controls in my room. That way, when cranky guests overstay their welcome, I can use it to dial up "Delect Discomfort".

7. Careful there...
I care what happens to the planet in fifty years and I am potentially cranky, but please refrain from calling me old!

Wife wanted one of these beds and I got to say they are not too bad.

T.D.P.

9. I am cranky, but not that old.
I've had mine for 10 years and it's the best bed I've ever had, by far. This really pisses me off as I may have to buy another bed sometime in the future and I wanted it to be another one of these.:grr:

18. A lot of old cranky folks do have kids and grandkids though...
I try to bring that up when the "I won't be here when it happens" and "We're all gonna be raptured by then probably" excuses come up.

True story- my sister, a born-again Baptist :scared: nevertheless has two great kids. About 12 years ago I wondered if her son was going to fly planes or even space ships, since he was so enamored with the Blue Angels. Her reply to this "Oh, we'll all be raptured by then, so we won't have to worry about it."
:wow::wtf::banghead:
Fast-forward 12 years later and an incredibly talented young man (takes after his grandfather) is going to be playing trombone for the Olympics in China this year.
Rapture? Uh...well...I think my sister would be willing to wait on that for just a little while longer...
I haven't brought it up since I usually don't go for pickin' fights.

Mostly.

10. Don't want to be picky...
...but Sleep Comfort is a major sponsor for AAR and Jones Radio Network as well.

13. So, should they get a pass then?
Sponsor one leftwing radio station and you're entitled to one free pass to sponsor a global warming denial tour, that it?

11. Could this guy get any more retarded?
I honestly mean, as in a "retarded" SPARK, on an engine that won't RUN PROPERLY. :)

I see TURDS over a factory, and I majored in ART in College. What a PARASITE, the guy's never had an original idea in his life, plus he LOOKS like he's been carved out of Plastic...

It's getting about time to give him the old Boycott treatment we gave to Limbaugh, we cost him TONS of advertisers, some BIG ONES in the very same afternoon we started it.

This poor excuse for a Human needs to have the door hit him where the Lord Split Him..

Thanks for the info, I'll be passing it around to everyone I know.

14. It's logical for them to sponsor, they want the American People to stay asleep.
All is well, never mind all that water, drought, famine, disease and death, you are getting sleepy...sleep... deep comfortable sleeeep..zzzzzzz

Thanks for the thread Harper_is_Bush

16. I don't know if this is current, but
...a few years ago, I used to check Rush Limbaugh to find out what the latest Republican Talking Points were going to be, and he (Rush) was doing (not playing...DOING in person) the commercials for Sleep Comfort. He would give a little spiel, mention his and wife's (Marta?) personal settings, and wholeheartedly endorse the product.

17. Funny thing about Select Comfort mattresses. We went to look at
some mattresses not long ago. Looked at one of these. The salesman pointed out something worth remembering. You can dial up or down the air bladders all you want. But you better hope the temperature in the room stays EXACTLY THE SAME, ALL NIGHT. The air inside the mattress will expand or contract depending on how warm/cool it is, and your settings won't work for you consistently. You'll have to keep making adjustments all night. Needless to say we didn't buy one.

Hmmm... directly affected by climate change...

Ironic, isn't it?

Just thought you'd like to know...
