5. I wonder how northeast supplies are holding out?
My store is wiped out even with deliveries. I can't imagine what it will look like if folks get hyped up about the next storm.

6. That sounds like it would beat the record in Maine . . . !!! Wow --
In more recent Global Warming times, we've been getting 3 inches or snow, whatever --

and then a 50 degree day!

I'm in central NJ -- about a foot overnight and today. Also more on Monday.

My sister is in Ireland -- usually about 40 degrees -- very unusually cold this year.

10. Feels like it!
I'm hunkered down watching Daily Show and hearing the snow drift in these killer winds we have tonight.
All the shovelling we did got about 8 inches more on it today and it's all getting rearranged tonight.
Maybe we can snowshoe to the grocery store Friday?
Oh wait. The locusts have already been there.

11. I haven't heard much about Monday's prediction on the local DC news
During the Friday/Saturday snow, they had a snowflake on Tuesday, and said that it would be a small storm and we may not get anything at all. They kept saying that until Sunday night when they were all saying maybe 1-3 inches. Then it went to 5-10 inches on Monday, and by the time it got to be Monday night, it was 10-20 inches. Maybe it is staying farther north this time, I don't know. But I certainly don't want to hear about any more snow at this time.

13. This is like December 1996 and 1997 all over again
I had a feeling this winter was going to be a bad snow one from the cool wet summer. I was just off on the timing of it.

23. 1996 was wild
But this is worse in DC now. In NY, it's not been much to talk about. 2 big storms and a few little ones. Nothing too serious.

17. I'm willing to bet that in 6 months you'll be having record breaking heat.
Stay warm up there.

I lived in the Gaithersburg area back in the late 60's, early 70's and the most we ever got at once in the 5 years I lived there was about 12".

Just watch though....you will have an incredibly hot July and August.

24. I have discovered message boards on Accuweather.com. They
track storms, read all the models etc... They are monitoring the Monday storm for the Mid-Atlantic and one on Feb. 20th as well. Seems we are stuck in a pattern.
