diane rehm show this am
her first hour roundtable discussion. tony blankley was one of the guest and diane wasn't having any

of his bullshit. she corrected him 4-5 times and called him on his lies. she was great.

second hour now in progress.

1. Diane is exactly what liberal talk radio should be.
Truly balanced in that she has guests from all sides, but she doesn't allow them to make things up.

She's great.

4. Agree. She's the most civil tongue on the public airwaves.

5. Although the cadence of her speech takes some getting used to.
Today...on...the...Diane...Riem...show...

Every word is monotone and evenly spaced, temporaly, from the one that preceeded it. It makes for very boring listening.

6. I think she had a stroke...?
So i'm sure that has something to do with the way she speaks -- i still love listening to her though.

7. She suffers from a physical affliction and doesn't have any control over
her voice. It's called spasmodic dysphonia. She's written a book about her struggle with this condition called FINDING MY VOICE.

2. My local NPR
airs a garden show (which is very good) on Diane's time slot on Friday's so I missed her today. She is a gem and tony blankley is a big old fat lying sack of shit conservative.

8. For some reason, she always is great when Tony Blankley is on.
She just doesn't let ol' Tony get away with anything.
