Why can't PALIN & Joementum be more like Dan QUAYLE?!1 Meaning just GO AWAY decently!1

Actually, if John EDWARDS had not self-destructed, he would be a third wheel with PALIN-Joementum.


But PALIN, Joementum, and EDWARDS let this Veep-nom thing go WAY to their heads. Everything we were taught from Year One was that the Veepdom was "not worth a bucket of warm PISS," yet these three seem to think that their being chosen as running mates meant their being Chosen at some other galactical level of things. Not to mention that one of the three campaigns LOST and the other two were not allowed to take charge.


Which leads to QUAYLE. Now, he was widely ridiculed as a lightweight, not to mention Lightweight Poppy, and I will share in adding, DESERVEDLY SO!1 Yet, aside from very infrequent pipings-UP, he has had the decency to STFU and stay out of the public eye, which is VERY APPRECIATED!1

The last we heard from him was his tidbit about meeting with CHEENEE after Coup 2000 and spouting his typical cluelessness by telling CHEENEE to prepare as Veep for endless, meaningless ceremonial tasks, to which CHEENEE replied portentously, "That's not the understanding (Shrub) and I have."


So, the question is: Why can't PALIN and Joementum be more like QUAYLE?!1

is that he was a serious candidate for president in the primaries. Part of what you depict as "going to his head" was a decent showing the presidential primaries.
