Conservatives always act like they represent YOUNG people. |
|
And it's NEVER true!
THE YOUNG SUPPORT OBAMA!
The only youth they have are the 'pro-lifers' which they raised themselves.
I have a theory about this.
I think they've been jealous ever since the sixties produced a REAl youth movement and they've been trying to copy that.
I can only speak from my own experience about what I think caused the generation gap. When I was sixteen and sitting on the beach talking to my friends about the adults, we had two main concerns.
Number one topic of concern was.. "Why are they lying about everything?"
Something the conservative copycats haven't noticed is that teenagers are human lie detectors and they are having the same problem with the youth of today as they were back then.
If you search youtube on a daily basis, you will see teenagers and even little kids making these vids about Republican liars. It's really funny. I've posted a few because I know this is a death sentence for anyone trying to capture the youth vote. Kids don't like liars and they see right threw them.
The second major concern me and my friends had was that the adults kept calling the police on us and took their side no matter what they did.
I'm seeing the same thing today also. Though it's much worse than it used to be.
Anyway my thought on the CPAC "we're the young" marketing ploy. Im mean it's a free country and they can keep trying to pull this off but it's not working. Busing in a bunch of Christian kids and acting like you're the young party is just a joke.

1. Yes, well they also act like they support the middle class. |
|
Mostly they support wealthy white patriarchs.

2. True. That does work some though. Adults must be dumber than kids. LOL |
