The manifesto could be forged, but that's a pretty long item to forge giving the small amount of time between the news releasing the name, and this popping up.

9. When I heard that the IRS was in the building, my hunch was that it was a

desperate taxpayer. When I heard about the house, that clinched it in my mind.

Something that has long bothered me. When we learn someone has committed suicide it's shock, sadness -- "Oh NO! That's tragic -- Why on earth?"
When the reason turns out to be money problems, then it suddenly 'makes sense'. Oh -- that explains it. And it's almost ACCEPTED as a "valid" reason to kill oneself. It doesn't sink in that money's importance is equated to life! I just find that so disturbing.

But yeah, I think this poor guy was at the end of his rope and felt there was no other way out. Heartbreaking.

Fills me with terror and pity. He didn't take anybody with him, did he? How awful. Do you think America has more than its share of this kind of rage/madness?
