Tea baggers send out their first suicide bomber
Edited on Thu Feb-18-10 10:12 PM by murdoch
Well, I guess the tea baggers are not content with killing George Tiller, today they sent out some guy to imitate Al Qaeda and fly a plane into a government building.

Congratulations Rupert Murdoch, Clear Channel etc. for getting on the public airwaves and telling people the government has been taken over by extremists who are trying to destroy the Constitution - after a year of this blaring, you succeeded in convincing some nutcase that what your commissars have been saying is true.

Tax Protester Crashes Plane Into IRS Office

AUSTIN, Texas—A pilot slammed his small plane into a seven-story building that housed the local office of the Internal Revenue Service Thursday, apparently killing himself and one agency employee, in what federal officials described as a deliberate suicide attack amid a long-running tax dispute.

The pilot, 53-year-old Andrew Joseph Stack, also set his house on fire before taking off in his single-engine Piper Dakota around 9:40 a.m. local time, investigators said.

Officials said they were evaluating an antigovernment manifesto posted on the Internet earlier Thursday, signed "Joe Stack," which suggested he planned the crash. "Violence not only is the answer, it is the only answer," the author wrote toward the end of a tirade against the IRS posted at 9:12 a.m. on a Web site registered to Mr. Stack. He described himself as a contract software engineer.

The police said they recovered one unidentified body by late Thursday. Thirteen people were injured, including two IRS employees who remained hospitalized for critical injuries. More than 100 IRS employees work at the building.

7. Certainly
I know teabaggers who quote Marx, Lenin, Mao etc. I have seen Glenn Beck quote Marx as well.

Marx was not against taxation, in fact, as conservatives have pointed out for a long time, he was for it (in terms of the SPD Programme, IIRC).

9. Been thinking the same thing all day --
He had a grab bag of self-absorbed complaints. All coalescing into explosive, formless rage.

It remains to be seen if his IRS complaints had merit -- I suspect he was leveraged to the hilt and didn't perform enough in his business to warrant the write-offs he wanted to lower his taxes to zero just like the big boys.

I really hope there is evidence of him at a teabagger function. These are unhinged people being encouraged and used by Republican party leaders to line their own pockets.
