I disagree with the people who are saying we should stop talking about Palin and she will fade away.

Right wingers are like cockroaches. You can stop talking about them but that doesn't make them go away. I think it is essential that we continue to confront any semi-charismatic (or shallow but propped up by the media) figure that emerges on the right. Otherwise we might find ourselves with a president Palin without knowing how it happened. I think that is something the "Swift Boat" or the "Acorn Pimp" should have taught us. There is no idea (or person) idiotic enough for it to be impossible that politics at the highest level get influenced by it.

1. Why would we want her to fade away?

2. Prezackly!
Besides her entertainment value, the more people see of ehr the less they like her. That's been her "brand" since John McCain shat her onto the public stage. (Thanks, John! Brilliant move!)

3. She isn't going away
McCain gave her the spotlight and Caribou Barbie is soaking it all up. This is the celebrity status she has tried all her life to reach, through beauty pageants, to mayor and governor. She is just a Paris Hilton wannabe.

4. why do you think she can demand $100K per appearance . . .
it sure isn't because she is an unknown and without oontroversy.

Keep talking about her. It keeps up those bookings and enhances her bank account.

6. I Hope She Keeps Talking...
Every time they build her up, the bigger a fool she makes of herself. Every thing she does becomes a punchline for a late night comic and the more she spews her vacuous talking points the more people realize how really inept she is. I don't want her to "go away"...she provides too many laughs. And her novelty within the GOOP is wearing out...she's getting too much of the limelight and be assured there are those inside that party who aim to bring her down. The fun has just begun.
