If someone decides to commit an act of terrorism against the IRS,
they are either a teabagger or are acting against the IRS because of a tax decision. People on the left know our current problems are not generated by the tax rate, but an ideology that says everything economic is determined by the rate of taxation and the role of government. With that knowledge or perception, one would not likely choose the IRS for attack. That is my unqualified opinion and only an opinion, so any that differ feel free to post as well.

3. I wasn't looking for recommends, just discussion.
Glad you like my dog even if it is your only reason to recommend. He was great and passed away in 2007. Thought I would keep his memory ongoing.

6. Not hardly. They are of one mind only.
There is no diversity of opinion there.

8. Hating Taxes...It's The American Way
Honestly, how many people look forward to April 15th? Or how often do we hear of tax money being squandered and get into an outrage. My bets are you can find a majority of people (including those here who appeared to have sympathy for Stack) who have negative feelings about taxes and the IRS.

A lot of this is the mantras we've heard all our lives that we're taxed too much and it's a simple meme to play with as I doubt there's anyone who wouldn't like to see that extra money stay in their check. Of course they never think about what that really means...and what valuable services government provides. They hate all taxes yet they want a "strong defense" or protectionist tarrifs.

The IRS always has a bulls-eye on it as they're one government entity that everyone encounters. And if you get behind their 8-ball they can be relentless, but in some cases, right be it so. This dude felt he was making a stand by avoiding paying taxes and others can sympathize, but it only shows how selfish and destructive this is.

and media personalities that taxation itself is some form of tyranny instead of paying for government services and infrastructure.
