I thought Tiger's speech was good and Stephanie and her pals are |
|
making fun of it.
Its not funny and it shows how silly and immature she is - even trying to cut in while he was speaking with a "witticism."
If it wasn't for her good looks and name I think she would be working in industrial sales or something.

2. his speech was BS. He had a friends only chat |
|
with no questions asked. It was a professionally orchestrated dog and pony show to try and rehab his image and try to hide the REAL Tiger.

3. You don't think people should be allowed to rehabilitate themselves? |
|
Why not?
All humans make mistakes. I bet you've made a few in your life.

Over a decade of fraud is not erased with a few "I'm sorry"s One affair is a mistake, what Tiger did was a pattern and a life style CHOICE

I don't think you understand what rehab is.
And you also don't understand that no human is perfect. None.

Take a step back for a moment and take a close look at what you're writing here. It's nuts.

I do believe that he feels (not necessarily my opinion) he owed the parents of children who look up to him an apology as a part of that. I was quite stunned as I thought it was going to be a "I'm coming back" speech. I wish him and his family well.

6. If it was something he needed to do |
|
either for himself or for his livelihood, more power to him. I didn't watch it, as I didn't feel it was addressed to me, given that Tiger Woods owes me no apologies. I have to admit that I have likewise never apologized to Mr. Woods for any of the poor decisions I have made along the way. Why anyone feels the need to report on, much less critique something like this is lost on me. I'd rather she talk about reconciliation on healthcare than in the Woods family.

It's not enough for the press though. Their already ripping it up on CNN. I guess they wanted tears and groveling. Wow, they're pirhanas.

He's a shithead. Most people don't give a damn about who he has slept with or if his wife hit him upside the head with a golf club.
It's about money and propaganda. Don't be a tool.

27. Oh, I don't think so. Stephanie is a pretty smart cookie with a sharp wit. |
|
She's done a lot of things in the media with it. I have got to admit this show is a bit juvenile, but I believe that is the demography she is targeting. I loved her on the CNN show a decade a go where she went head to head with Baye Buchanan on politics and news and won the argument every time. Unfortunately, this is when Time/Warner was reorganizing CNN into FOX News lite so they dropped the show. It was very good though and her smarts really shone through.

a public figure. If he wants to keep it strickly golf... I have no problem with that. Apparently, he doesn't. He is fair game. It is a joke that his private life is "news". But he signed up for it when he got paid millions to be a paid role model.
Stephanie is doing her job... commenting on our society. That is what talk radio is for.
Tiger's job was to golf and be a paid role model spokesman for big corporations. He failed at the second job.

|
The rest was insincere bullshit written by his sponsors. Look at his face. Listen to his tone. The guy is pissed off that he got caught and blames the press for his situation. Period.
Oh, and Stephanie Miller is an AM political talk show. She blends humor with serious political viewpoints. That is her job in the morning and her ratings prove that she knows what she is doing.
