I love that I dont watch (much) tv

Today I got to miss the Tiger crap.
Yesterday I missed the guy flying his plane into the IRS incident (really, how does wall to wall coverage of a tiny, isolated event help any of us).
I dont watch Cable "news" as a matter of principle. Obama was right when he said that it's all just like professional wrestling.

I stay informed, but just try not to be overwhelmed by the wall to wall onslaught of minutia that can cripple a person's brain. Be careful what you allow access into your head.

I'm not criticizing anyone for watching tv, but dont watch it then become outraged by it and continue to watch it some more.

I still watch some tv, but not half of what I used to.

2. I'm watching TV (at home, because by back is out again).

And I'm watching something of much greater value - Tommy Lee Jones in 'Volcano' for the umpteenth time. I practically have the dialogue memorized, the plot is cheesy, I've probably seen it 15 times - but it is STILL of far greater value than anything to do with Tiger's infidelities.
