Why is the MSN not reporting on Obama's anti-terror successes?
Another high ranking Taliban official was captured yesterday. He's one of several key captures made in the last few weeks. Yet there was hardly any coverage of it on the morning shows today. Morning Joe and Fox & Friends completely ignored it.

5. It's an especially bald example of the slant of Corporate media.
There have been significant advances since the most recent "surge" (if you will). The senior leadership of Al Qaida is being rolled up.

TPTB want more than anything to avoid giving props to a Democrat on the National Security front.

6. Because EFFECTIVE anti-terror is a concerted "law enforcement effort" ...

when working smoothly, there's no need to FRIGHTEN the public with stories of near-misses and foiled plots. Further, operations security supports not publishing the offenders' known capabilities and or weaknesses.

The best law enforcement programs function without fanfare, public BRAVADO and/or constant public announcements.

8. Because to believe in 'anti-terror successes' you have to believe there is an actual war
And that is the first fallacy.

10. The only way any of Obama's successes are going to get on the news...
...is for him to have daily press conferences outlining them. What news channel isn't going to show it? (well, maybe FOX. They did actually cut him short in front of the Republicans.)
