BOOGA BOOGA BOOGA, you ignorant New Hampshire conservatives! Here come us gays to threaten your marriages! Mwuhahahahaha!!! Now, you must leeeeeeave the state not to be around civil unions!

Drama queens.

=====

CONCORD – Opponents of the state civil unions bill said yesterday they were assessing their options on what to do now that the bill has cleared its last legislative milestone.

Gov. John Lynch has said he would sign the bill, which passed the Senate Thursday on a 14-10 vote.

"I think people have three options," said Karen Testerman, director of Cornerstone Policy Research in Concord: "move out of state, step up to the plate and run for office, or pursue legal avenues."

She said there was no consensus yet among conservatives with whom she has talked.

Testerman said a repeal bill was another possibility, but that would have to wait until after a key event took place: "Look at the next election. I don't think Democrats realize the backlash this is going to have in the voting booth."

Until then, even moving to another state is no sure answer for those who don't want to be around civil unions because many other states are considering similar laws, she said.

4. how about donations

can we donate to a fund for free tickets to "afghanistan or iraq" for all these dis gruntled conservatives? i'm sure at least 70% of the nation would donate!
WHAT I'VE FOUND IS THIS MINORITY OF CONSERVATIVES JUMP AT A FREE RIDE ! AS LONG AS THEIR FELLOW CITIZENS FOOT THE BILL!
GOD THIS COULD BE A BRILLIANT SOLUTION!

liberals were talking of moving to Canada? The Freep response was the usual "LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT" rhetoric.

You don't like NH now? You prefer people didn't LIVE FREE?

Well you don't have to DIE...just get the hell out!

Please don't come to VA. We don't want you here either.

Intolerant? NOT SO MUCH. Tired of your intolerance.

13. Better stay out of Illinois, then.
There is a civil unions bill that has been introduced in the Illinois Legislature. And with Democrats firmly in control of both houses and a Governor, who, unfortunately does not support same-sex marriage but IS in favor of civil unions, this bill, I think, has an excellent chance of passage and of becoming law.

I think the trend in this country right now is towards civil unions. More states are getting friendlier to the idea.

18. Maybe NH Conservatives Can Move To The South
Maybe these "conservatives" can move to the South. They'll find themselves living with fellow political reactionaries as well as Bible-thumping literalists and inerrantists.

But wait! The South also has much higher divorce rates than the Northeast does, their schools often aren't as good, and those parts of the South closest to the Gulf are big targets for hurricanes.

19. at least they have the CHOICE- live free or die isn't just a slogan-
I'm thrilled that our brothers and sisters are finally able to have their unions recognized.

I do not feel threatened, in any way. I hope those who are choosing to saddle others with the weight of their own insecurity and fears will have an awakening- be set free from their personal prisons. For the sake of everyone-

peace,
blu
