George Will Lied
Today on This Week George Will lied when he said the only time we hear talk about government not working is when Democrats cannot get legislation through Congress. That is just not true because for years even when George W. Bush was president there were discussions about government being broken, not working, and being partian. Part of George W. Bush's appeal in 2000 was the fact that he claimed that he would be able to break through Congress's partian fighting because he had done the same thing in Texas.

George Will also tried to at least be misleading when he discussed the filibuster. He was trying to complain about Democrats saying the filibuster was blocking their majority. However, Will successful failed to mention that the Republican Party, with far less reason, threatened to eliminate the filibuster if Democrats kept threatening to filibuster President Bush's nominees.

I do not see anything wrong with Will having his own opinion about the issues. As an American citizen Mr. Will has every right to promote his own ideas. However, he should attempt to mislead people in order to support his ideas.

1. Isn't that kind of like saying 'rain is wet'?
I mean, all repukes do is lie. They wouldn't know the truth if it bit him in the ass.

5. Yes he lied, they have to
lie to get anyone to listen. Though have to point out one of the reason you hear more and louder complaints about broken government when Dems are in control is it is coming out of the repukes mouths every other sentence. It is the foundation to their argument on why they should be the ones in charge.

6. George Will should be in jail for TREASON.
Will was part of the Bush-Casey spy operation that sabotaged Carter's efforts on behalf of the hostages in Iran. As part of their scam, the pukes stole Carter's debate briefing book. Will lied when he said Reagan won a debate over Carter, because at the time Will worked for Reagan.

7. He also misled when he claimed 85% of Americans didn't see need for health care reform.
He basically suggested that since 85% of Americans were happy with their health care, they therefore didn't support reform. Republicans like Will will never get that most regular people have empathy for people with less and don't base their opinions only on selfish interests.

12. Hmm ... "government not working" ...
like the least number of days in session, under George W. Bush with the House and Senate led by a "clear" majority of Repugniconvicts (which gave some RW pundit the audacity to claim a permanent Republican majority would prevail) ...

or maybe the "government shutdown" in the 90s when the Repugs held the House and Senate, and "shut down" the government stuff ... what was hilarious was that Rush Limbaugh himself was chortling with glee that the stock market was soaring during the period when "the government was closed" and the House and Senate did nothing ... not mentioning to his listeners that it was while a REPUBLICAN run Congress was not doing any work ...

He's been wrong time after time after time, and when there's something that needs discussing, he's the first to talk about - baseball.
