I read here that the NYT is not suitable for wrapping fish anymore
so I have come to ask: what should I wrap my fish in now?

2. Newsprint can be toxic, especially the colored inks
that contain heavy metals. I'd suggest getting a roll of plain brown paper to wrap your fish in unless you're going to get them home and skin them before you eat them.

The NYT also suffers from toxic reporting and editorializing, but that's not as big a problem to the fish.

4. This looks pretty good

Flatbread would probably work just as well.

5. For all of its faults, the New York Times is probably still the best newspaper in the nation.
It's many times better than any New Hampshire paper and several times
better than the Boston Globe (which the Times still owns).

6. I feel the need to defend the NYT: it is, indeed, suitable to wrap fish.

8. Don't do it. The NYT makes the fish smell funny. Why use something fishy to wrap fish with?
