HLN just stated that 70% of the Toyota uncontrollable acceleration complaints
came from models that are not (yet) being recalled.
If you drive a Toyota, be aware....

1. interesting, but im not to worried, im used to shifting into neutral to move between 4and2 wd
also if my truck accelerates on the highway im already doing 70 and its hard pressed to go to 90 so its not to much, best thing you can do is learn your shifter and know where neutral is...

3. i think american cars suck, but thats just my opinion and i back it up by not buying them
its down to the individual where they spend their dollars, i will be interested to see what happens next time there is an issue with ford or GM cause you know its going to happen...

6. Sorry to say that while the attention is on Toyota...
Ford was not that far behind in the official ranks of companies with these acceleration problems. Hopefully, this whole incident will force all car companies to improve their quality control.

5. Wow.... BTW, When did Headline News become HLN officially?
I don't have cable so I don't see it that often, but CNN's Headline News has been rebranded only to HLN? That seems stupid to me...

7. It IS stupid, especially because they refer to it as HLN News, or
Headline News News....I guess they haven't noticed that over the last few months-too busy with them breaking stories and lookin' fine.
