I wonder what Cheney's ejection faction number is now?
Even in 2000 they wouldn't let that all important heart pumping ability number out. (see link below)

I once read about a man in Fla who, after several, heart attacks, had an EF of "16" but he was still able to walk around and lead a somewhat normal life. As I recall he became a follower of the Pritikin diet and it helped him quite a bit.

My husband followed the Ornish diet after his MI and with a lot of exercise, meditation and diet watching - he's doing great 15 years later, thank God.

As much as I can't stand him, I wish Cheney and his family a good recovery.

1. I doubt that will ever become public knowledge, but would be interesting to know.
I had an EF of 15 following one heart attack two years ago; currently 28.

2. Have you tried CoQ10, 200 mg every day?
This will repair your heart muscle damage. I've posted info about this OTC supplement several times on DU. I have a cardiologist, a nephrologist, an orthopedic surgeon, as well as a primary care physician. They all know that I take CoQ10 and approve of it. With the help of this supplement, along with exercise the other cardiac drugs I take, my EFR improved from 48% to 75% after my second (and last) heart attack 15 years ago. Try it. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

3. I hadn't heard of that but will look for it the next time I go to the pharmacy. Thanks!

4. I am sorry to say I had a heart attack and don't know what EF is
I have had numerous tests since then but EF has never been mentioned.

5. You're assuming he has a heart.
15 is really low.
