The school owns the computers and has the right to have a security feature on that computer. If that feature can be leveraged to identify crime, so be it. No one complains about a bank across the street that has a security camera and catches the business next door being robbed. Its not like that footage is not used, even though its an invasion of privacy for the neighboring business."That's my emphasis, by the way. I don't need to go into how shockingingly ignorant this is. Even more shocking is that I have seen the same kind of comments here.
For the record, a bank security camera located in a public business is not the same as a secret computer webcam activated via remote control.
