(parody alert!)

Why should I have to pay taxes so that everyone else in this country can have the military defending their freedom? We haven't been invaded by another country since 1812! The last time our country was attacked by another country was in 1941. I don't think my taxpayer dollars should be spent on fighter jets and tanks just so that Joe Six-pack in Oklahoma can enjoy his freedom! Heck, we don't even need the National Guard! The Constitution sez we can have all the guns we want, so if your freedom is important to you, then you better be stockpiling guns and ammo, because I sure as heck ain't paying for your protection! Yep, I got plenty of guns, I keep them all around the house within easy reach, and I teach my kids how to use them also! I'll be ready when the Russians come rolling in!

3. Who burned down the White House in 1814? I don't think it happened in Canada either.

5. We haven't. Although I think a lot of Canucks want to do it again after that last USA-Canada hockey
game.

:D

6. Noop.
A game is a game, nothing more. And we've lost em and won em.

Still in the running on this one.

10. Yes...
And we did a pretty poor job of it too. All US attempts to invade Canada in that war read like Monty Python skits.

11. The US military doesn't "protect freedom," they kill/get killed for corporate interests
How does a military "protect freedoms" in a country where citizens rights are routinely trampled and abolished?
