Tomorrow, President Obama convenes the health care Summit. The fate of healthcare in the United States could be in our hands.

Today, we are one huge force of nature, and we must make our voices heard.

It is critical that we let President Obama know we have his back, we support him, we demand reconciliation, and we insist on passage of healthcare reform.

1. I must say, I am disheartened.

As I sit at my desk calling Senators and Comgresspeople about medicare buy-ins and the PO thru reconciliation, I have watched this thread drop like a stone. It appears there is no support here in our community to fight for this. No one is kicking it up. Only 4 recs out of 72 views.

Even if you don't support the HCR as it currently stands. Do you support the PO? What about Medicare buy-ins??? The point is, let them hear from progressives today. Join us in this virtual march, PLEASE.

The question becomes: Are we just going to sit around and bitch about how none of our progressive agendas are moving forward, or are we going to actually TRY to do something about it?
