I've been trying to reach his office for 3 days and the phones have been jammed. I *did* send a lot of e-mails, though.
Good for you, Senator. :woohoo: :applause:

The site shows he's signed it, but Adam Green is on with Ed and said he hasn't (we get Ed's show delayed, so maybe he'd signed in the last few hours?).

5. Sen. Amy Klobuchar - This woman pisses me off! |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-24-10 05:10 PM by LaPera
I watched Senator Klobuchar (D-MN) on television shows like the Ed Schultz MSNBC show as well as others radio & television shows she was on day after day, for months, receiving publicity from her pontificating about how she was for the Public Option, how she was fighting for the Public Option....
Now she won't even sign the letter of support for the Public Option, an important letter other democratic senate colleagues have signed, realizing how important support & solidarity is for the much needed Public Option....
The senator hasn't signed she says because of a detail, a comparatively minor detail as I and many others see it, an obstacle she's come up with about Medicaid in her state....Fellow Minnesotan, Senator Al Franken, who immediately signed the letter should kick Klobuchar in the ass!
She is not from my state...Both my Senators from California have already signed the letter.
However, Senator Klobuchar is quibbling over a minor detail and using that as an excuse why she won't sign....She is shameless...has she been paid off?
What possible reason could Klobuchar have of not signing something so important and not getting on board with the Public Option which she has claimed she "whole-heartedly" supported?
Legislation that will help tens of millions of people and stop the insurance industry' strangle hold on health care for profit and put a stop of the tens of thousands who die each year from lack of insurance they can not afford.
A Bill that will prove to be the most ground breaking legislation in our lifetime.....it's time has come and we will make this historical!
And Klobuchar is just ignoring it and pretending she has more important reason for not signing the letter....Klobuchar's duplicity is glaring & distasteful!
