Bank of America, fuck you very much!
After writing a letter to my Senator (Feinstein, CA) B of A has assigned my case to one Alisha (A-lie-sha) Asovse who works for the office of the president (CEO of B of A). It seems once your Senator gets involved the rules change a little, not much, just a little.

You see, B of A changed the game rules and, in a nut shell, told my wife and I that we did not qualify for the making homes affordable program last month. A long story that was posted here on DU.

For a brief time, one month, I was working and making my union wage(thank you very much)and because the program works on a month by month review basis, for that one month we made too much, imagine that?

A-lie-sha just called me today, after I called him 4 times and left messages on hi s answering machine and told me that I would need to fax him the usual suspects, 2 months pay stubs, 2 months bank statements, and a monthly breakdown of our budget. OK, done, for the 8th time since this has happened.

It has been over a year now and still no modification, none and A-lie-sha said that it is decided by the person who holds the mortgage note. OK, understand that, but B of A is really running people under the big bus to crush as many homeowners as they can.

How do I know this?

I am glad you asked, you see, I asked A-lie-sha the question that has been bothering me since the whole housing bubble exploded on main street.

I also set him up before I asked,

Me- "So, A-lie-sha, your in the banking business and must read the daily reports, professional journals, banking news, right?"

A-lie-sha "Ah' yes, I do, why?"

Me- "Ah cool! I was wondering how many home owners that need or have applied have had their loans modified and have actually got any help from the banks? Really, be honest"

He proudly responds....

"We have helped 250,000 homeowners modify their loans, or around that number. Quite a few really"

My head starts running numbers and I almost reach through the phone to grab his banking ass skinny neck, but control myself and say thanks.

The moral of the story is not my situation, which is still unresolved and nerve racking, but that number (250,000) that A-lie-sha is so proud of.
To me that is proof that the banks are doing everything in their power, in collusion with note holders, to throw people out of their homes. I dared not ask him how many families his bank has foreclosed on, because I am sure that number is much higher than the ones they have helped, much higher I feel.

Of the 13,000,000 homes under siege in America by the banksters and more expected by years end, 250,000 is like a nickles worth of help. This leaves 12,750,000 people who are scared and becoming more desperate by the day. Myself included.

So Bank of America, I just want to acknowledge everything you are doing to help American home owners stay in their homes and say ....

"FUCK YOU VERY MUCH"

2. Even the 250k number is a lie
That's how many they let into the modification program, since they get paid by the gov to do it.

Number of actual modifications completed? If it's over 1,000 I'll be surprised. I'm pretty sure the total for ALL banks is under 10k.
