1. Good question. Also, last night there was a kerfluffle about seating arrangements.

2. I heard somebody was 'added' at the last minute, therefore the Rep's got to

have a latecomer, too. Some of these people make sense, because of their positions, but I'm not sure of the others (because I really don't know who they are).

I posted a thread last night about the seating arrangements. I'd heard just a snip of Randi when she was talking about it and I couldn't believe it! The article I found, and a comment or two in the thread recalled there was a similar prob with VietNam talks -- that people were dying while the politicians were wrangling for the best seats for the TV cameras. :grr: Okay. I can understand these are politicians and each side wants to further its agenda, not to mention the egos. :7, but I was soooooo saddened to hear it even occurred when the topic was bringing home Americans from a war where they were dropping like flies.
