4. CNN has been a disaster since Ted Turner sold it
so it takes sense to watch them cover disasters. THey really excel at that and nothing else. I still miss Aaron Brown.

5. And CNN essentially did the same thing during operation Shock Doctrine in Haiti.
The complete takeover of Haiti by military, military contractors, contractors, and corporations went unreported.

Lots of coverage of the tragedies, collapses, and heartfelt care worker stories, but none of what the real deal was, and continues to be there.

2. CNN sucks hard.
For some reason, they can cover a tragedy like no one else can (Katrina, Haiti). But when it comes to day-to-day news? You are dead on. Faux, right-wing bullshit.

3. I was perturbed at the amount of coverage they gave to cpac
I think the media just likes to focus on the train wrecks.

6. Agree so much, and basically media today is so controlled and contrived... and
is for the most part tabloid sensational journalism! Today we have corporate sponsored propaganda that passes for reporting IMO. Fortunately, we have keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and a few others that try to get the truth out. We are in a sorry state of affairs in this country.
