1. Greetings from Cedar Rapids!
We're in one of the finest hotels the city has to offer. We came upon this delightful establishment after some delicious dining at a Chinese buffet. Yum.

Wish you were here. Really we do. Glad to see you managed to keep busy in our absence.

7. You need to try Jin Shan's too
That's been our favorite lately.

You don't know how much I wish I was in Lawrence too. We had a great day though. We met with some die hard Gore supporters in Ames. We thought the meet up would last about an hour but it turned into several. There are some great Dems in Ames.

Tomorrow we're meeting some more here in Cedar Rapids and then we're heading back. Hopefully, we'll be back in time for The Sopranos.

btw, this is Mabus. The Admiral is asleep. Rex and evl are watching The Gangs of New York on the telly.

3. Looks like it was a beautiful day in KC
I do miss Kansas City.

I saw a sign as I was getting off I90 to head home this afternoon announcing an Impeachment party on the Flats in downtown Cleveland for tonight.

The message is getting out, wish I weren't so impatient

8. Shhhhh!
Don't tell anyone. This past election something marvelous happened: people got sick and tired of all lot of the fundamentalist wacko branch of the Republican party and voted a number of them out of office. Then, like complete idiots, they elected another RW fundamentalist moron to head the state party which alienated the few who were still hanging on to the GOP. People started to wake up. Now we've got the start of a good thing going here. The Kansas GOP has imploded. It's a lot of fun to watch from the sidelines. And, if everyone finds out about the great ring-side seats, they'll all want to move here. ;)

11. It was so much fun!
I was on the opposite side of the bank with my bullhorn yelling directions "A, spread out!" "Middle of M, sit down!" And the lady in the middle of the M still didn't sit down, I can see in this picture. I also told them not to get too familiar with each other while they were laying there.
