If the Repubs are blocking health care reform with all their antics because |
they don't want Obama to succeed then wouldn't it seem right that they oppose the public option because they think it would be a great success? And we just found out the President Obama admitted he dropped the public option because of Republican pressure. I think that the repubs believe the public option would be great for our country and that is why they don't like it and I think we should be telling out representatives that.

1. You are giving them too much credit. thinking? believing? |
On second thought, all they do is believe (mindlessly), but think? not so much...

2. I tend to agree! I think the only reason the Republicans are opposing the Health Care reform is |
because they don't want such a huge positive step for our country to be credited to the Democrats. . .they are truthfull when they say they see a need for health reform. . .they just want it to happen on THEIR watch!
And. . .if they can't stop the health reform by democrats. . .at least they want to weaken it to the point that it will be easy for them to come back and demonstrate "how much better" THEIR health care reform will be that the "Democrat" one!

3. It's Democrats who are blocking the PO- and they're too cowardly to go on record with a vote |
which means that LOT of others in the party- across the board an down ticket will end up with the blame come next November.
