Come gather 'round people
Edited on Sat Apr-28-07 10:22 PM by IChing
A song to honor the students at Harvard.

Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled

There's a battle outside
And it is ragin'.
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.

Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.

If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.

Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again

And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'.
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'.

The harvard thing brings back old times
and it is about time. Gonzales and the rest
of the these criminals can fall
if we want them to.

Thanks for gathering around DU and
the Harvard Student heroes.

2. The song hit just when the news of the Harvard hit on DU
I thought some Synchronicity was working and couldn't resist.
DirecTV channel 836 has a great DJ on playing shit I like.

The thing about the Harvard students doing what they did
said to me that "The times are a changin"
in the halls of Congress, on the internet and the flood waters from global warming effecting
this planet. Dylan's words are timeless.
