This is the first time I've been exposed to Josh Marshall and I was really impressed! I've read on DU from his blog and knew it was good but it was stunning to get a bird's eye view via Bill Moyer's show on the net!

just not fast enough. I don't think I've watched cable or network news since 2003. Maybe they'll be shamed into it if Moyers new show does well - Stewart has certainly been doing his part.

16. What an incredible interview. Just watched it this afternoon on the VCR...

I was babysitting the grandbaby when it was first aired; I have to say it was well worth waiting for and I'm glad Mr. H taped it for me.

Bill Moyers and Jon Stewart are both wonderful on their own -- and together --> :loveya: !!

17. You know it is so amazing to hear Jon say he isn't serious about this stuff

when he actually is serious and even more than that, truly dedicated. He spends so much time saying he isn't a journalist and then shows that he really, really is with the rest of his interview. That man cares as much as any DU fanatic here.

He may be this generation's H. L. Mencken, but with a bit more empathy for the foibles of the human condition.

In spite of his Daily Show 'persona', you can tell that he is a very deep thinker.
