The Media and Debra Medina |
|
Is the media making too much of Debra Medina, a candidate running for governor in Texas? I just saw the end of an MSNBC story about Medina. The part I saw was a guest and the host discussing the fact that Medina was limited in her ability to compete in the Texas race due to lack of money. It was also mentioned that she suffered in the race due to her seeming to support the idea that the government was behind the 9/11 attacks.
I am not against the media discussing Medina, but I wonder if she is being given too much attention. There was a chance that Medina was going to catch Kay Baily Hutchinson, but there was little, or no chance that she was going to catch or beat Rick Perry. So, should Medina be the focus of media attention when it was likely she would have lost to Rick Perry who was a supposedly unpopular governor even without the 9/11 comment.

Turn up the volume for Far-Right and Uber-Rightists.
Turn down the volume for Leftists.
Cover up real crimes and gaffes of Far-Right and Uber-Rightists.
Trumpet false accusations with barely whispered retractions against Leftists.
I never thought I'd live to see our nation enslaved to the same kind of Orwellian-Double-Standard and delusion on the same level as the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany.
But make no mistake, it IS so.
Like the Swiftboat lies getting millions, maybe billions in free publicity from the Corporate M$M/RW Lie Machine Fusion fora $100,000 ad buy with false allegations easily refuted by people who were THERE.
George Orwell, meet 21st Century America.
21st Century America, meet Inverted Totalitarianism, your Master from here until either collapse or more classical Uber-Right Nazi/Bircher style Totalitarianism takes it's place.
