Maybe we should close down police departments in high-crime areas.
They obviously aren't doing their jobs well enough. For their poor performance they should either be shut down completely, or they should fire everybody - the chief and all the officers. Or I suppose another option would be to privatize the station - bring in a corporation to run it more efficiently.

I wonder how that would play in Rhode Island?

1. Let's say only 7% of the detainees did not get beaten by police.
Keep the police, or fire the police?

5. This is the problem with local taxes vs. federal taxes
The rich neighborhoods could care less if the poor people are blowing each other away, but I guarantee the rich neighborhoods have enough cops to take care of the criminals that dare come into their neighborhood.

anyway because surely everyone in a union is extremely competent and dedicated unlike non-union workers. The 85% of kids who can't do basic math are complete idiots and should just be locked up

20. exactly. i am so GD tired of attack on schools and teachers from lazy ass parents that raise lazy
ass kids.

and then demand their children learn when they do nothing to encourage it.

a parent creates the environment for a child to shine, or they dont.

yet

so many on du has jumped on the repug line attacking schools. all for the buck. blindly following. and now they are truly fuckin shit up.

hopefully my kids will make it thru before total chaos and greed reignes

the bad guys already do and if honest citizens were allowed to carry the crime rate would drop.

As long as they're private contractors they'll do a better job, right?
