Oh Tony Blankley just did not bust out a Neville Chamberlain/Munich reference... |
|
regarding the Dems wanted to get out of Iraq. He said sure Dems have a popular position now, but Chamberlain was popular too right after Munich.
I think Tony must have lost weight too fast. It's effecting his ability to think.
Wow, did you see how big his head is to his body now? He looks almost emaciated. Not in a good way either.

1. Did he EVER have "an ability to think?" |
|
Just curious. Nothing I've ever heard him say seems to have emanated from cranial deliberation.

4. I despise Tony Blankley. |
|
Every Saturday night when the McLaughlin Group airs here in Chicago, my Irish-born and raised husband and I just laugh at him.
Blankley is British arrogance personified. I'm hoping that one day Eleanor Clift literally slaps him into the middle of next week.

5. I know, I love that show |

It's great comic relief when Lawrence O'Donnell is on and gets ballistic with Blankley.

7. Of course this war is nothing like the threat of Hitler. |
|
God, I hate that right wing creep. One reason why I don't watch that pathetic waste of airtime anymore.

8. so dishonest, like sedition... |
|
blankley is a professional goofball. The Chamberlain/Munich drama happened with the background of European power politics; Germany had 55 million people and had been recently defeated in war, was stuck with brutish reparations payments and also undergoing the world's great depression- all criteria Iraq situation defies. And it was the Tony Blankleys of the dirty 30 era who imposed the brute reparations on liberal Weimer Republic Germany, and who played footsie with the extreme rightists of nazidom, which is best epitomised by Chamberlain/Daladier signing over the Sudetenland to hitler, making war inevitable. So we have the spectacle of the rightwing blankley using a completely out-of-context historical event which primarily featured rightwinger chamberlain selling out to rightwinger hitler to justify a modern rightwing atrocity committed against a little 3rd world nation whose main sin was having oil. Tony Blankley; you are a seditionist, a criminal who plots against the well being of the American people.

"Viet-... ahem... *Iraq*" correction.
i enjoyed Eleanor's looking daggers at Tony. his Capitol Hill Don ensemble, complete with black poofy accent kerchief, was also quite fetching.
and the little UPI Moonie tool looked like the love child of David Frost and Brian Epstein.
