and he does come from the most conservative part of the Upper Peninsula, real nutbag militia territory.
We can only hope an ethics probe like the one suggested last night by Rachel Maddow can unseat him.
You can bet the guy is dirty somehow and she's right, now that he's stuck his neck out and people know who and what he is, he'll be a more appealing target for investigators.

region in northern Michigan? He's the only Dem elected to Congress from there in ages. A serious Dem challenger would be hard to locate. Now Repuke challengers are probably a dime a dozen.

Only 7 copies of Clinton's autobiography sold at a bookstore there upon release. (I bought one, and enjoy displaying prominently along with Franken etc. for my neighbors.
Hunters afraid of guns taken away, meth heads who do not vote, uneducated populace amenable to Fear Mongering Fox, etc.
A cinch for Repugs if he vacates.
