Live your life with no regrets. Leave nothing unsaid. A co-worker died last night |
|
I sat beside her in a meeting yesterday. Today, I did not know she was even absent until we had an emergency staff meeting in which our boss told us that her husband found her dead at home during the night. She was in her late 50's and just the nicest lady ever. She will be missed.

16. There isn't really anything. Just live your life to the fullest. She had a massive heart attack |
|
Her husband was sleeping on the sofa as he wasn't feeling well. when her alarm rang and she didn't get up or shut it off, he knew something was wrong. He went to get her up and she was gone.
I miss her greatly, but that is the way I want to go. Here one day, gone the next.

3. My sincerest condolences. We are waiting for my sister-in-law |
|
to be declared braindead in the ICU. We all know it is going to happen, but there is nothing we can do to bring closure except wait. My Father-in-law, a Vietnam War vet and her father, died last summer.
I also have lost friends from school and college over the last year. I decided last year that I would live my life with no regrets.

5. You bet. Every night before I go to be I ask god to help me make it through the night and |
|
when I wake up I thank him. Am 62, overweight and I have a heart condition. I love my life and especially my husband of 30 years and my granddaughter. I pray to god that I at least want to be around to see a graduate college with her getting married and having a baby before the age of 21 and not married. I drill her now that she has to go to college and not to get married until she is finished with college. Drill baby drill. I don't want her to be like her mother and her 17 yr old sister now having a baby and not married.

10. I've taken a philosophy that you should live every day like it's your last. |
|
I recently reconnected with a former coworker who was paralyzed in a car accident. It sucks that tragedies like this cant be avoided, no matter who you are.

I can definitely relate....4 years ago a 28-year-old woman I worked with commited suicide. The empty desk at work the next day will forever be etched in my mind.

14. My condolences - however |
|
I very much appreciate the sentiment, especially when it comes to people we care about and admire. However, I think I'll leave a lot unsaid when it comes to one particular co-worker. I won't regret if she passes on without me telling her she's a back stabbing witch.
Sometimes leaving something unsaid is a very good thing.

15. my mom and dad died ten months apart. my father had strokes and had |
|
2 near death experiences. He said we must always say I love you when we go to sleep and we did for years. I still write I love you Mom and Dad! at the bottom of my diary every night. They hear your prayers. I have no unfinished business with my parents and I totally concur that it is the way to live.
