I guess there's no law against it when you're an entertainer. |
|
None of these hateful, bigoted right wing coocoobirds were stirred up by the drug addled Limbaugh.
Glenn Beckkk was just doing schtick. He didn't actually stir them up.
Nobody who tunes in to Sean Hannity thinks he's actually serious.
Nah. They're just entertainers.
But what about Dick Army? Is he an entertainer? Or a conspirator, along with his funders? Was his activity this past summer just political or was he actually inciting the border line crazies? He's a smart man. He knew damned well what would come of what he did.
He knew damned well.
And so did the entertainers.
Why is what they do permitted?
At some point, "free speech" morphs into criminal activity.

I've been thinking about what a crowded theater this Country has become.

3. The First Amendment does NOT protect instigation of violence towards others |
|
Conservatives have gotten away with this for years, dating back to G. Gordon Liddy's infamous radio show remark telling listeners to shoot ATF agents in the head. Right-wing hate radio is usually a form of falsely yelling "FIRE!" in a crowded theater and provoking a bunch of other people to jump a random person on the street.
