Did you see McCain on TODAY show?
He was totally justifying Caribou Barbie's use of "reload" and setting target sites on battleground states (including Colorado). Disgusting jerk.

1. He's so loyal to Palin and he is being used. I almost feel
sorry for him, except that he is a jerk.

9. My more apolitical partner was even yelling at him.
He was just talking about how "that rhetoric has been used during my entire career" making it sound like there's nothing different today from any other time in history. Well, I haven't been around as long as him, but *I* certainly don't remember a time that's been this bad.

11. I don't think that's the case; he's loyal to himself, and sees his
chances of reelection swirling down the drain unless he takes the party line that there's just nothing to see here! :grr:

16. I haven't heard him criticize Palin yet
and that's showing restraint. I wish McCain's senate seat would go to a Dem. I know, wishful thinking.

15. Nope, he is loyal to John McCain, and he is struggling in a state with a high loon to sane ratio
Considering the crap GOP at state level has been pulling, he knows he needs to move to the right of Attila the Hun to even stay in his senate race.

20. Do you think he will throw Palin under the bus once he wins
his senate race? I don't know, I think he will continue to support her because otherwise, it makes his decision making skills look pathetic.

27. I think he will do whatever his wife's uber rich friends tell him to do
If they still see uses for Palin and the stalker army, they will tell him to make nice.

The one comfort I take is that his oh-so-obvious lust has got to annoy the crap out of his wife. But he does what he does for John McCain, and the rich tell him how that's going to work.

21. Only if we put her in a different funny farm
It would be convenient to put Bachmann, McCain, Palin, Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Dick Armey and all the rest in the same place--you could either stick them in a special place in the Badlands where they'd have to run across the desert, or on an old Navy ship anchored off Cape Hatteras so they'd have to swim the most heavily shark-infested waters in America to get back to the mainland. But insanity is cumulative, and eventually it would seep back and infect the rest of us.

after being captured by the Vietcong he sang like a song bird even though he was aware of the harm he was doing to his fellow prisoners. He only wanted relief for himself, the hell with the others. John mcCain can kiss this 'nam vets ass.

I watched him this morning ~ his tone regarding anything Republican is a smiley face, anything Democratic is evil to this scum bag.

He loves to give his Poll Numbers a Rethug spin ~ every time.

10. Yes, I did.
Mr. McCain needs a brief tutorial in the difference between denotation and connotation as they concern words. When you use the word "target" in conjunction with crosshairs, it's pretty damned clear what the meaning/intent is. Also, when you have someone very fond of tossing around hunting metaphors (Palin) using words like "reload," it's also pretty damned clear what the meaning/intent is.

And then he says this kind of stuff has been around since he entered politics.

What particularly disgusted me was his smirk when Ann Curry was talking about the gas pipeline incident.

12. Did no one in the MSM get the memo?? McCain LOST the election!
Edited on Thu Mar-25-10 08:32 AM by pink-o
I don't remember the "liberal" media giving this kind of airtime to Al Gore or John Kerry after they lost. And fer fuck's sake Carl PorkyPig Rove was even on MSNBC yesterday in a 15 minute long interview. (know because I was on the treadmill and forced to look that way since the screen was right in front of me). All this coverage makes me sick! These ass hats are LOSERS. They should be crawling back in their holes by now

If a Republican whines and pontificates in the forest and the MSM isn't there to mike him and hang on his every lie does he make a sound?

(edited because I know neither Gore nor Kerry lost their elections. Just writing on the Iphone and tryig to save my thumbs!)

at this point it really doesn't even matter if JD Hayworth ends up the senator from Arizona since McCain has become a bitter and useless old man with NO principle. I would like to see him gone from the senate.

embarrassed him on national TV at a campaign rally. He deserves whatever political bad karma he gets.
