finding out what prison was like. After all, in case the repubs take over, it's a good idea to have some advance education. With all the schools shut down, you'll either be a guard or an inmate if you are below a certain level of net worth.

2. They're corporate media that cynically decided to cater to... |

...a part of the population that has nowhere else to turn. Kudos to Keith, Rachel and Ed, but the day they stop making money is the day MSNBC stops being liberal media.

Why didn't you subtract the re-run hours from the 24? And Jay Leno's comedy show while you were at it
And do you deny that some people who missed the first airing of those shows may tune to the second airing? Or do you believe that the whole audience fo the re-runs is made up of people who wanted to watch the same show twice?

You are trying to figure out what proportion of the day is devoted to liberal programming. You tried to push your argument saying that the Maddow/Olbermann/Schultz shows only play "3 out of 24 hours" a day.
You are including comedy shows in those 24 hours, and by doing so, you mislead.
You include re-runs in the denominator but not in the numerator. Does that all seem fair to you?
You should simply simplify everything by telling us which conservative shows serve as counterbalances to the three shows in question. Are there four conservative shows?

I am unaware of any comedy shows on MSNBC unless you are referring to Morning Joe? I think that is only unintentionally funny.
Again, WELCOME TO DU

8. Her speech was terrible |
|
I couldn't believe MSNBC was covering the McCain rally today but then I remembered all those John Kerry events they covered when he was running for reelection and I realized that it was only fair. :sarcasm:
Anyway, Palin was just awful today and the crowd wasn't digging her at all. They only reason they clapped was because she paused so long at the applause lines that they had no choice. She was way off her game today.

13. It is amazing that she gets the coverge she does |
|
Compare it to 2006. Senators Kerry and Edwards campaigned for people - I saw Kerry in a local town when Corzine was running in fall 2005. Yet there was not even much local media coverage - I think there was no TV.
Yet all the cable stations carried her speech to the 600 people at the tea party rally - what was the MSM coverage of Hillary Clinton or John Kerry's speeches at the 2006 Take Back America. (From what I remember neither of their speeches got much coverage - but there was coverage that Hillary got booed. Both speeches were far better than Palin's. Kerry's was amazing and he was cheered.)

the Prison propaganda - that is all it is.
Making people feel "more secure" because people that the Teabags fear are safely locked down, not all guilty, but locked down with Looog sentences.
Who are the sponsors for that mess?

among their P.M. audience do they expect to enjoy those interminable prison shows?
During Mon.-Thurs. we get Ed, Keith, Rachel, and Tweety from about 2:00 PM till 1:00 AM. And Dylan Ratigan at sometime earlier (not sure when 'cause they've moved him around so much.) Actually, the multiple reruns are OK with me--I'm usually busy looking after kids earlier so the TVs mostly tuned to cartoons. At least this gives me a chance to catch up later in the evening.
But on Fridays, by the time it's "me" time there's nothing on but inside-the-prison coverage. At least they've stopped that catch-a-predator set-up show. But the two audiences just don't jibe, IMO. Why do they do it?
