Note to MSNBC: Health care reform has ALREADY PASSED!
They're still pounding away heavy against Obama. Every clip this morning is of some Republican ranting about the horrors to come. Oddly, they have also thrown in the clip of Bill Maher Friday night telling Democrats it was time to get drunk on their power and use it.

There is one good thing about the show this morning...Joe and Mika are both absent.

1. I was just thinking it's not bad without those two assholes
I rarely turn it on and have been pleasantly surprised this morning.

But yes, they do need to stop the anti health care reform crap.

2. The esteemed former Governor of Alaska was in full idiocy mode about it this weekend, too
She went on and on about "government-run healthcare" and "government getting between you and your doctor" and "Obamacare is socialized medicine" etc. etc. etc.

Aside from the fact that she's clearly an idiot, it's infuriating that no one in the media pauses to say "in fact, Ms. Palin is full of shit."

13. Morning Joe refuses to call out Palin. I wonder what it will take
from this woman to get the blinders off many in the media.
How much crazy do they need before they have the guts to say what we know: the woman has no idea about our Constitution, our laws, our history, our foreign policy, or our people. She is all attitude, no details. And she will say whatever she wants without consequence. Facts be damned.

4. All of these MSM bums will be looking for the next Dem bash issue. They have no interest in the
welfare of this country. Only themselves, they only care about themselves.

6. It was a major concern
You've got all of the GOP, several right leaning organizations, a very conservative press organization, and to some degree various private organizations like the Chamber of Commerce, not to mention employers that will want to use this as an excuse for every detrimental act they will choose to take for the next couple of years, all lined up to be very critical of this bill. On the other side you have Obama, and a handful of democrats willing to defend it. Many other democrats, especially those in House races are wary of connecting themselves too closely to it. And some conservative dems who will probably be running on "we didn't vote for it".

I've already seen the first of the "drip, drip" of small stories coming out about short comings, weaknesses, or loopholes. We've had a couple of rounds of "we don't have to cover the kids" stories. This morning brough the "$250 mil for abstinence" story. And there will be more. Any where they can find someone even just CLAIMING to be worse off, it will make far more headlines than any thousands silently signing their kids up until the age of 27.

assholes.

My error.

10. The Rushpublicans Still Haven't Realized They've Lost...
These shitstains live in their parallel universe where they never lose or are wrong or have to be responsible. In their "mindset" this administration is illegitimate and anything they do is either invalid or will be repealed. The HCR debate was their Waterloo and every other battle wrapped up into one. They were determined that any healthcare bill would fail and when it didn't, they still are in denial that it's happened...that the black guy won...that the Democrats won. Now it's throwing the last tandrum about repeal and how the "Democrats are gonna pay for this" in November. It's like they're covering their eyes to deny what's there cause they can't see it.

The good thing is these shitstains are overplaying their hand and reading too many of their press clippings. They, along with the corporate media, have gotten teabagged that distorts their view of reality even further. Remember, we're dealing with sore losers here and they're not going to accept anything other than to get more removed from reality and power.
