1. If you had listened to what the President said, you would understand..
that this plan has nothing to do with teabagger ideas.

I'm so glad I'm not a snap-reactionary, what's it like?

2. Bogus. We need the mandate, or no end to pre-existing.
The oil lease change matters not, for two years at least. All that area needs resurvey. It is a brilliant tactical move, largely symbolic. Taking the wind out of Rethug sails.

Give the man who has shown you strength, and progress a little fucking credit. All your way, or you campaign against?

5. Pre-existing clause is already law. there is no reason we could not get rid of the mandate and keep
the pre-existing clause.

The mandate is against my best interest - as is the offshore theft of our oil.

If he feels forced to cave in to more teabag ideas - let's kill the crappy mandate, keep the reforms in the bill, and DO NOT drill, baby, drill.

7. You would be creating the mother of all federally unfunded mandates.
And a soundbite that would bite off all our heads.

8. No, the teabaggers and Repubs are AGAINST the mandate, and the mandate is to PURCHASE
insurance - not purchasing it would not remove funding.

4. Oil
I like the idea of not relying on foreign countries for oil and other commodities we can produce for ourselves. Hopefully this is a part time deal, so we can focus on renewable energy.

6. Except that - this oil will be sold on the open market to China, etc, , so it will do nothing to
reduce our foreign dependency.
