The one he's throwing down about? I think he's got a legitimate beef. Moreover, the remark about the Taliban appears to be a rhetorical exaggeration to make his point about the consequences and effects of the U.S.blundering about in Afghanistan. The effect HAS been to draw Afghans concerned about that U.S. military imperialism closer to the Taliban resistance.

It seems like we shouldn't allow ourselves to get hung up on who we like there or don't like and focus on what our military is doing and contemplating (as Karzai is inviting us to), and what effect that militarism will actually have. Remember hearts and minds? It's about more than the propaganda before we invade with our military.
