Why DU Still Means a Lot to Me, and Thank You All

It is true we have experienced a ton of upheaval over the past eight years, but the minute I read or hear anything shocking, horrific or revealing, this is the one and only website I think of to post anything of importance or moment.

Thank you all for being trustworthy enough that when something important is posted on this site, you have the good, basic, moral and kind common sense to perpetuate it, so that it transcends simple gossip to become news that troubles us all and that we gather around.

There is no greater compliment I can pay anyone--you all--than to thank you for alerting this world when there is important, shocking, wake-up news. And there are always people here to comfort those of us who are so troubled by what is happening in this world.

I really appreciate all of you here at DU with all of my heart, and if it were not for this website, there are so many crucial events, facts and intelligent predictions we would have been deprived of--without your understanding and intelligent comments, I would have lost faith in all humanity by now.
