Tea Party Activists Hold Massive Rally
by Stephanie Coueignoux

ORLANDO -- Hundreds of Tea Party activists are gathering in front of Orlando City Hall for a massive rally at 6:30 p.m.

Some pretty big players are going attending, including House Minority leader John Boehner.

The big topic this afternoon is health care. Three speakers will be discussing the issue.

Earlier Monday afternoon, Tea Party leaders attended a luncheon in Altamonte Springs. That's where local candidates had a chance to speak about why they decided to join the movement.

Another speaker this afternoon will be Dr. Jack Cassell.

He's the Mount Dora urologist who gained national attention after he posted a sign on his office door that said "If you voted for Obama, seek urologic care elsewhere."

Oh, wait, she said MASSIVE.... so, I take it stephanie couiegnoux lives in a tiny village up near Ocala??? Last time I checked, saying MASSIVE rally implies thousands, if not more accurately a hundred thousand.

1. Is this the same brain trust who admitted that he hasn't read the bill at all?
This guy proves that just because you have a group of letters after your name, that doesn't necessarily make you smart.

2. 'Hundreds' is "massive"?
Dregs of humanity. They have no idea what they want. I suppose they'll "know it when they see it".:eyes:

4. Apparently you're not familiar with ...
... Teabagger Math.

"Massive turnout" for a Tea Party event = more than a dozen.

"Hundreds of Thousands of anti-Iraq War Protesters World Wide" = a handful of malcontents.

Got it?

14. Teabagger Math.
Again.

100's is "massive". 1000's is "gargantuan".

It's like when the Taliban had 7 million troops on the western border of Afghanistan waiting for the Chinese to attack.

15. This is massive for Republicans
The win only when they get to count the votes..and when they control the media and get to decide how to frame events. Less than half the votes: landslide for Bush. The largest protests in history that preceded the invasion of Iraq: a bunch of malcontents and dead-enders who protest everything. This is massive in Republicanistan.

16. Massive?
Interesting description for a rally this size. Even more interesting is the fact that this is the second article I've read about the teabaggers that describe a rally as "massive." Different city, different rally, both described as massive.
If Democrats and progessives got the press that these malcontents are getting there wouldn't be so much confusion and misinformation about the healthcare legislation.

20. just watched Fox 35 Orlando's hit piece on Grayson, and before that they said the Teabagger rally
was MASSIVE!

Hrmmmm.... Sounds like someone got their talking points from the same organization. Apparently channel 13 (Brighthouse cable network exclusive channel) and Fox 35 listen to their masters....
