Tea-baggers and similar wild-eyed gun-totin' feebs, take notice: |
|
you scare me.
I mean, I BELIEVE all that foaming-at-the-mouth "take our country back/don't tread on me" stuff you've been screaming while you strut for the cameras!
Why, if you and I were face to face and you were to make some "intelligent" comment about my "Proud Liberal" cap or my "Bush deserves a fair trial" bumper sticker and then you just sort of moved your hand toward your "open carry" weapon or even just made a quick movement in my direction, I'd consider myself "in imminent danger or receiving a battery" and, therefore, justified in "defending myself".
Of course, I'll only be armed with 225 pounds of righteous indignation but, in most cases in the past, that's been all I needed to "stay safe".
Y'all be careful now, ya hear?

1. But this gun-totin' Democrat LIKES your anti-Bush sticker |

I have no use for the teabaggers whatsoever. But few things piss them off as much as watching liberals arm themselves. :hi:

3. And, as the Police know - an unarmed man intent |
|
on mayhem can clear 18 feet faster than 90% of TRAINED people can get their pistols out.
Then, the shit really hits the fan.
If you shove one up some teabaggers ass, make sure to take the safety off.
I went to two health care functions last summer looking for gun toters to ridicule.
I hate 'em. I fucking actually hate men who would think they are badass or patriotic by taking guns to political rallys.
They are the most craven of the cowards in this country.
They are useless.

6. regardless of any arguments to the contrary, |
|
such as demonstrating ones constitutional rights, the underlying reason for displaying that you are armed in public, is always intimidation & fear. Always.

4. Democratic, arch liberal gun carrier here. |

I won't be relying on my somewhat slight frame if there were a serious confrontation. I'll leave that up to my companion Mr. Makarov, who likes to argue with a loud bark and 9mm short rounds.

"packing".
If some Kluxer wannabe is going to shoot me, he'll be able to "brag" about plugging an un-armed arthritic 61 year old liberal who just wouldn't back down like liberals are "supposed" to.
You guys raise hell if that happens, OK?

10. I wonder if some bodies' "gonna put someone's eye out!" Or worse? |

I want to point out that while my signature says "who's afraid of the big bad tea baggers?" I mean in the voting booth.
After the Michigan thing, Tea Baggers scare me shit-less.
I'm especially concerned about a loner with a fantasy of having his own "cult of personality."

15. Actually, you described a situation why someone might want to be lawfully carry a weapon |
|
Edited on Tue Apr-13-10 05:37 AM by aikoaiko
My point being that at most of these public rallies there is no security screening to keep the bad guys from unlawfully carrying a weapon. Given that, I don't think its wrong for anyone to carry for self-defense.

She was practicing with her old S&W .38 Spl, and I needed a little time with my 12 ga. We had a great time.

fears onto the public with their 'scary guns' that can 'kill a person in an instant'. They want to believe THEY are in control of every situation in public, because now they feel lost and hopeless without Der Chimperor King Minor. It is an ailment brought on by living culturally ignorant for decades on 24/7 - Rush/Beck/Hannity and owning a gun 'intimidates' the very people that scare you.
Ask me how I know...
