If Elena Kagan gets the pick for the USSC, I will not be able to support her |

I didn't say I would oppose her, but nor would I be able to support her either.

4. Is she any relation to the PNAC Kagans? |
|
I heard today that Bill Kristol endorsed her, and he's a good friend (and fellow treasonous piece of shit coward warmonger) with those guys, so that's certainly a troubling coincidence.

She said, "There's no federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage". She claims she was just describing "the state of the law" at the time, but that's bullshit. There IS a right--even now. It can be found in the 1st Amendment, where the government is barred from legislating based on religion. It can be found in the 4th and 5th amendments, which imply a right to privacy--privacy from having the government intervene in matters that are private to the individual and do not cause substantial harm to the state's interests. It can be found in the 14th Amendment, which demands that all people be treated equally under the law.
The right is THERE. Refusal to acknowledge that it's already there is like stating in advance that she intends to rule AGAINST marriage equality.
No thanks.

7. Well, then. I'll pass that info along to President Obama. |
|
I'm sure he'll rule her right out, based on the information you provided.
