MEG Whitman's Offshore TAX HAVENS
Edited on Fri Apr-16-10 09:01 PM by Segami
The California Accountability Project,

<http://californiaaccountability.com/>

a campaign of the Democratic Governors Association, works to oppose billionaire Republican Meg Whitman’s campaign for governor. The latest ad should really gain some traction. You can watch it below:

<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZK1upq_EkM&feature=player_embedded>

Remember that Meg Whitman is running her campaign claiming her experience in the private sector qualifies her to be governor. Beyond her involvement with the now indicted Goldman Sachs, at which she was sued by the company stakeholders and forced to pay the company back, and her abysmal record with hiring minorities in California, we really don’t know much about her taxes. Candidates generally release their taxes and in March Whitman agreed to release 10 years worth of tax returns. She seems to have changed her mind.

It’s kind of ridiculous for a politician to run for office on her business background and assert a tax policy while refusing to tell the voters how much she has made and very importantly, where she has made it. Whitman is stashing millions in off-shore tax havens. The truth is, we don’t know if she’s paying taxes on it because she won’t release the records.

note: although the article reads " indicted Goldman Sachs ", currently they have been charged with civil fraud and no indictments.

8. Looks like someone from the silverspoon crowd is trying to buy herself the Governorship.
Like the Bushes, such people continue to believe in their own self-serving delusions that they have the inherit right to lead or command the sleeping masses. Welcome to Bizarro World.:puke:

24. Not real fond of this seller, though...
"If you do not intend to leave 100% feedback and 5 STARS on DSRs, please do not bid."

So...if I buy a lock from you and you send me the wrong one, then give me all sorts of grief about returning it, I can't give you less than 100 percent feedback?

Addendum: the richardson here: "Son William (Whitman) started in the mercantile business in New Brunswick, then went to Boston & joined Beebe, Richardson & Co." is an ancestor of governor bill richardson.

I mean, if she's not willing to talk, let the record do the talking for her.

19. No More Crazy ShowBoats For California Governor!
I like the actions former Gov. Jerry Brown is taking and I want him to be Governor again. His father was Governor, public service is in his blood.

This dippy woman didn't even vote for most of her adult life. She can never understand the moral fiber needed for public service.

There seems to be something seriously wrong with this Rich lady.
She seems like she is on some " Calm Down" Medication.

Can another state take her from CA -- please!
