1. It's possible, but I always thought that their destinations were further north |

3. That doesn't make sense |
|
Arizona has a 40% minority population and is well on its way to becoming a majority/minority state just like California, Hawaii, New Mexico and Texas.
Must we region bash?

4. There has been a lot of people moving out of CA to the neighboring Western states. |

And a TON of people moving in-state every year.
The thing about CA that a lot of non-Californian's may not realize, it that the progressive areas are mainly along the coasts, which is where a majority of the population lives. There are some more conservative parts along the coast, but mainly, it is progressive/liberal. Once you go inland, the population become increasingly conservative, with, of course, exceptions here and there. We do have quite a few SPLC-identified hate groups here in California. So, are they all moving to Arizona? They could be. But we certainly have our own race-issues here. Trust me. It can get really nasty.
I would guesstimate that if judging by square footage, CA would be conservative, but it is the overwhelming populations along the coasts and some really strong areas of liberal/progressive voters in N. CA, San Francisco, LA, etc. that keep us in the "blue" category.

...there are pockets in Orange County that could make one think they've stepped into a scene from Deliverance, Mississippi Burning or some other awful racist movie. :scared::puke:

5. Californians usually move to NV if they live in SoCal |
|
and OR if they live in NoCal.
At least that's been my experience.

on the highway into AZ from CA my mom told me. Not so lately huh? Do you think many were racist ? Definitely opportunist. Better buck and lower taxes were a draw for sure.
