The couple says they will contest the citations and challenge zoning laws in the two cities that ban dispensaries.

NORCO, Calif. -- A couple that converted a motor home into a mobile medical marijuana collective has become the target of police in Norco and Corona.

The first thing people see when they step into Stewart Hauptman and Helen Cherry's converted 1985 Pace Arrow motor home is a glass display case filled with chocolate-covered cannabis cookies and medical marijuana labeled "blueberry" and "cheese."

The couple has been on the road with their Lakeview Collective for seven months, serving about 700 members from Southern California and as far away as Las Vegas.

They often park the RV in a lot outside a clinic in Norco, where people are evaluated for medical marijuana use.

Hauptman said being there allows patients coming out of the clinic to get their medicine right away.

But they were cited by police this month for possessing drug paraphernalia and operating a dispensary.

1. I would love a statistic on how many cops are sick of messing with pot arrests.
When I lived in Anchorage it was well known that the cops ranked pot arrests as low priority.

2. I would rather they spent their time on foot patrolling and watching out for real crimes
Or cruising around areas like mine. Lots of pot smokers around here, but there is also a high amount of break ins and robberies.
