5. -1 for trivializing a very important issue.
Humor=good.

Trivializing THIS issue = helping the slow sprawl towards fascism.

9. aw, your cactus doesn't deserve that... it has more sense than the governor....
I love the beautiful varieties of cactus (and the flowers! Wow!), and my ire goes out to the numbskulls who support this bigoted legislative idiocy. (SB1070).

As far as one poll claiming that 68% of Arizona supports it, that poll is based on 500 people, called via landline, and determined to be "likely voters".

Hence - I seriously protest it's credibility and annoyed by it's being so frequently cited as somehow meaningful. It's process alone makes it a faulty sampling regardless of the issue or answers gleaned.

If anything, it provides - maybe, at best - the views of a few hundred land-line phone owners who have a party affiliated voter registration and have a history of voting (?). In AZ that likely excludes those registered as Independent (or as it's called in AZ, "unaffiliated" almost as if it's scoffed at - even though there are Independents in the Senate and have run for President, legitimately... ugh)

Nurture that cactus... now had you said "scorpion" or "fire ant" I might not have not been quite as compassionate, but still more compassionate than the simpletons taking the state into a racist nosedive...

but that's just me : )
